This design has been a fan favorite in the SureShot collection for over a decade. It was inspired by our Key of A Upcycled Jewelry, where we utilize old keys to handcraft create new, modern, trendy designs.
The base for the design is an old, antique winder or clock key. Each rendition of this design is the same, with the exception of these unique old keys and the metal color of the filigree used. If the key we use is silver, then we may reverse the filigree metal color and bezels you see. Each key is unique in brand, condition, and style, yet is of the same general size and style to keep the necklace design consistent. We use both brass and steel keys.
The design constructed on each key consists of stampings and filigrees made from old tooling. We use a combination of antique brass and antique silver for a balanced, mixed-metal look that makes this necklace so versatile for your jewelry wardrobe.
The focal piece is a genuine 12 gauge shotshell mounted in our signature rope bezel. Brands of shotshells vary, but we generally use Winchester or Remington brand. Contact us if you prefer a certain brand. We stock a huge selection of 12 gauge shotshells in many brands!
The wing span is approximately 3.5 to 4 inches across and the pendant length is 2.25 to 3 inches (length is dependent on the shank length of the key used).
Lengths of chunky antique silver curb chain balance the look of this awesome pendant and give it the strength and stand out appearance it has. A sturdy lobster clasp and an extender chain finish the look.

I designed and envisioned this piece to be worn closer to the neck, but not necessarily a choker style, but if you have a preference, contact us. This necklace is not meant to be worn long though.
